| ▸ PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
| Ashe stands at an even five foot and has a head of collar-length honey brown hair with bangs that frame her face and hang over her bright green eyes. In terms of physical appearance, Ashe could be considered cute by her peers despite the fact she doesn’t really express much in the way of romantic attraction. Due to her constant training with her father and brother, her skin while fair is lightly bronzed from exposure to the sun.
She shares one trait in common with her oldest brother, Gabriel is that she despises formal attire and as such her usual attire is that of a grey sleeveless jacket buttoned at the waist over a black zip-up turtleneck and a black skirt with red trim. Her legs are typically adorned with thick black stockings and knee-length combat boots with white laces and black soles. Completing this ensemble is a silver pauldron on her left shoulder with a white cape and red interior clipped to her left shoulder blade. Around her waist she has a belt that holds a magnetic clip for her weapon, Acheron and its ammunition.

▸ CHARACTER PERSONALITY
| On the surface, Ashe is a fierce, independent, and emotional person who happens to possess a strong sense of loyalty towards her friends and family. Though she has a romanticized view of them and even aspires to be a hunter in her own right, Ashe does possess a slight sense of insecurity with her future and where she wants it to go. Nevertheless, she is comfortable in her own skin and in general is a fun-loving young woman. Ashe is especially talented with all sorts of machinery and is a self-professed “dork” when it comes to weapons, having designed her own weapon, Acheron, during her training with her father. Due to her more open and honest nature; however, she has a distinct inability to pick up on social cues and finds herself in awkward situations when placed in formal settings, and while she has no trouble keeping friends, she does have remarkable trouble making friends. Ashe is notorious for pushing aside her own desires and wellbeing just to make sure that others are taken care of and while she has no problem waiting hand and foot on her friends, she tends to feel as if she is a burden on her friends when the shoe is on the other foot.
Though she wasn’t ever trained by him, Ashe remains relatively close to her uncle and his family, favoring spending time with her cousin Xel and even helping participate in whatever pranks he and Caleb come up with. With regards to Korvon, she likens him to that of a big teddy bear and is often the most ecstatic to see him after he’s been away on missions for some time. Her aunt, Suzume is a woman she admires and even aspires to be like due to her calm, level-headed nature. Regarding her brother, Caleb, she has a typical sibling bond with and even puts up with his constant attempts to get her to socialize outside of her comfort zone often teasing him that he sounds a lot like their father. Speaking of, she is very much a Daddy’s Girl and regards her father far better than most of her siblings do, she also regards him as her trainer much like how her brother regards Korvon as Abram taught her how to wield a scythe.
Her relationship with her twin sister, Adelaide, is not as close as she would like due to their diverging career paths; however, she loves her sister dearly and while she has reservations about it, like Caleb, she has remained supportive of Addi’s choice to become a Sanctum soldier. Of course, she has confided in a few fears to her twin that she would never have bothered to tell their father, much less Caleb. Like her twin, Ashe loves to read books and many arguments have been sparked from Ashe grabbing one of her twin’s many books, especially the ones on ancient legends.
Her relationships with her older siblings is quite the opposite and borders on fear. Though she may not fear Olivia as much, she finds herself nevertheless intimidated by the firstborn Vanheart due to her inexplicable ability to gather knowledge about things that she shouldn’t have knowledge over. Whereas Gabriel, Ashe has found herself becoming rather afraid of her oldest brother due to his penchant for trying to anger their father and the constant invocation of the Rage. It is because of this that she looks upon her oldest brother with suspicion, fear, and even a little bit of resentment as he tries to constantly force his own pessimistic views on people. It is perhaps this reason that Ashe remains optimistic and upbeat as she is determined to prove that Gabriel is clearly wrong in his views.
Though slow to anger, Ashe’s wrath could be described as “cold” while the others could be described as “hot” as she becomes more focused in her fights. She is analytical and can often come up with plans to compliment her strengths and supplement her weaknesses. Though this is contrasted heavily by her impulsiveness and battle eager nature as she often leaps into battle before first understanding her enemy’s strengths and weaknesses.

▸ BATTLE INFORMATION
| Weapon
Ashe is primarily known for using a black and silver high caliber sniper rifle that can transform into a massive scythe and has named this weapon Acheron named after a river of woe into ancient legends. Having designed the weapon herself, Acheron can fire prismere rounds of any type and rather than trying to compensate for the force exerted by the recoil, Ashe harnesses the recoil in an attempt to increase her mobility in combat, firing shots to propel herself short distances and simultaneously attacking and evading an opponent.
Though preferring to engage her enemies in close quarters combat, Ashe has the skill necessary to land headshots against her targets, though she needs to stand still in order to do so usually by anchoring her scythe to the ground in order to act as a monopod. Unlike her brother; however, Ashe’s hand-to-hand combat skills are considerably subpar and as such if she is disarmed then she is easy pickings for the most basic of enemies though she still has her speed to fall back on if need be.
Vigors
The Quickening: Like most of the Vanhearts, Ashe has the unique ability to seemingly teleport across the battlefield; however, this is in actuality super speed. Though her father has demonstrated its ability to do so, Ashe has yet to showcase the ability to change directions in mid-air; however, she is working on improving this particular ability.
Magic
Paladin’s Mantle: Unbeknownst to anyone, the children of Orianna bear the faint traces of the bloodline of Agrias Cainhurst, an ancient hunter better known as Agrias the Paladin—or Agrias the Betrayer to the Cainhurst family. Though a bastard of the family line and matriarch to the Landis Tribe, the fact remains that the ancient holy magics of the Cainhurst family flow through the female line of the Landis tribe as none of the male descendants of Agrias have displayed any aptitude for this ability. The magic manifests itself when Ashe is particularly upset or as means of protecting her from danger. Daemons that are exposed to this magic are typically destroyed instantly; however, despite the usefulness of this ability, currently Ashe has no knowledge of this ability and even if she did, with no one able to teach her how to use it, she still would have no way of controlling it.

▸ CHARACTER HISTORY
| Born alongside her twin sister, Adelaide, Ashelia was the last of the Vanheart children born to Abram and Orianna Vanheart. Though tragically she would lose her mother just two years later, she would nevertheless become attached to her older brother, Caleb as he seemed to be the more protective of her siblings. Though horribly neglectful during her formative years, Ashe was very much aware of who Abram was and often remarked that he always seemed sad even though she rarely saw him. Thick as thieves with her brother, Ashe would become known for allowing Caleb to involve her in several pranks involving their oldest siblings as well as the good-natured attitudes of their cousin and aunt and uncle. However, a fateful outing with Caleb nearly turned fatal as the two wondered around the woods. It had been Caleb’s idea to go hunting for treasure deep in the woods bringing only a wagon and some blankets to camp with and though only five at the time, Ashe was still a small child who grew tired and decided to sleep in the wagon as Caleb journeyed deeper into the woods. Unfortunately, he exhausted himself and was confronted by a Lycan. Though a younger variety, it was still more than capable of shredding two children and would have… were it not for the intervention of their uncle, Korvon.
While Ashe was mercifully asleep for the most of it, the mere idea of her dying prompted her father to rouse himself from his stupor and reintegrate himself into the lives of his children. Though Ashe noticed that Olivia and Gabriel seemed to be distancing themselves from their father all the same, she would grow up clinging to both her father and older brother while somewhat nervous or even fearful around Olivia and Gabriel. She would travel with her father, brother, and uncle to the Lotus Isles from time to time while on summer vacation from school as the four of them would train together as she expressed a desire to be a Hunter like the rest of her family, exposure to the varani of Tengoku helped expose her to the prejudices that they battled against back home, though she didn’t really understand it. It would be when she was eleven that the traditional sojourn to the Lotus Isles would halt due to the more recent turn to violence within the Equalists which neither Abram nor Korvon would risk exposing her to.
For the next four years she would begin training with her father in wielding a scythe though at the age of fifteen, she is rather hopeful that she would eventually be able to join Cocoon Academy in order to further advance in her dreams of becoming a respected hunter in honor of her mother.
